Too tired to think of a witty title.

Spent last week in Orlando. Managed to avoid doing the usual Orlando activities, since I was just there in February. We did get free tickets to Sea World,so I spent a day there. I'm glad I got in free, since I don't at all feel it was worth the $70 admission. Disney and Universal I feel are worth it,but not Sea World. The problem with the place is that it can't decide if it wants to be a theme park or an aquarium, and the result is not enough of either.

Injury is recovering nicely, thank you. Not 100%,but I doubt it will ever get there as long as I'm doing this show.

West Palm Beach FL this week, and our 1st theatre show. Normally we perform in arenas, but when we play theatres we have to downsize the show dramatically. That involves basically re-staging the whole thing.

Florida's nice,but I miss autumn.

Hot-lanta

Slowly recovering from my injury. I'm trying to wean myself off the pain meds little by little. Tomorrow is our first 3-show day,so that'll be a big test.

Next week the DVD of My Little Pony Live:The World's Biggest Tea Party arrives on the shelves. Reserve your copy now! This is the DVD that we shot in Hollywood way back in March of last year. A year and a half later,it's finally being released.

Orlando next week.

Working my way back in.

Well,Mobile did indeed happen. And I am back in the show. I'm still experiencing pain, but it's at least manageable instead of debilitating. I just have to catch up to everyone else in terms of stamina. I can't emphasize enough just how physically brutal this show is. So little air gets into your character's head, you constantly feel like you're performing at high altitude. We did 2 shows today and literally as soon as I walked back into the hotel I collapsed into a 3 hour nap. Thankfully the scheduling gods have given us only 1 show tomorrow.

So I guess I should talk about some of my tourmates this year. Tim,Caitlin,Rachel, and Krystal are back from last year's Pony tour. Tim is Oscar,Caitlin is Elmo,Rachel is Abbycaddabby, and Krystal doubles Grover and Baby Bear. Also there's 2 people from the 1st year of MLP. Rebecca, who was our Asst.Company Manager that year, has made the transition to performer and is playing Prairie Dawn. And Liz,who was Wardrobe and later took over as Spike the Dragon,is Roxy Marie and an understudy. The understudies on Sesame Street are actually in the show, unlike Ponies. They play small roles who have no lines and when they need to go in for someone, their role is cut. Roxy Marie,Grundgetta, and Honker are the 3 understudies. So when I was out with my back injury,Grundgetta was cut from the show,as she is my understudy and had to play Bert.

So those are the 6 people I knew from before. Still kind of feeling out everyone else. No divas,I don't think, and so far we've been pretty drama free. Granted I haven't been super social yet,as I've been trying to conquer this choreography and get myself healthy at the same time,so maybe there's been tons of drama and I've avoided it. If so,yay for me.

Atlanta GA next week on our continuing game of avoiding hurricanes. Time to go rest my back now.
