Ponies no more

Long delay in posts,and for that I apologize. Crazy last couple of weeks.

My Little Pony Live is now history. Atlanta,Milwaukee,and New York City closed it out. I came down with a nasty case of bronchitis in Milwaukee,which I'm still getting over. Add that to a horrific show schedule,and it's a wonder I'm coherent. While I will miss it,I'm glad to be done. I think Vee is glad to be done with Hasbro as well. We were always kind of the bastard stepchild of Vee tours anyway,but the fact that all financial decisions had to go through Hasbro made us even more so. By the end,Hasbro was just done with us and didn't want to put any more money into it,which meant our hotels got crappier,repairs to sets and costumes couldn't be made,and what should have been flights turned into LONG bus rides. It'll be nice to get on Sesame Street next year and have management be able to take care of business without having their hands tied by an outside company. While I haven't been offered anything yet,I've been told that I will be.

So what's next? In 3 weeks I'm headed back to Ogunquit for a run of Fiddler on the Roof. Taking it easy till then. Check back in 3 weeks!

We're in Charlotte NC on a split week with Salem VA. Went roller skating last night for the first time since...oh,I don't know...1984 maybe? Had a great time till I realized that half the people I was there with weren't even born the last time I was on skates.

Time is winding down here in Ponyville. Slightly more than 3 weeks to go and it will be all over. Kind of odd. This is by far the longest job I've ever had,even with the 10 week break last summer. A year and 7 months when all is said and done. There's a good chance I'll wind up on one of the Sesame Street tours next year,which is a step up,but still I will kind of miss these ponies. Sooooooo,I want to take a moment and give a shout out to EVERYONE who's been on this tour since day one.

Even those of you I didn't like.
