Where's the basement?

Our week in San Antonio is done. Finally the weather was seasonable for us. I took one day and drove up into Hill Country,which is just northwest of San Antonio. Absolutely gorgeous landscape. Just this random assortment of hills and streams and fields and forests plunked in the middle of the Texas plains. I,of course,forgot my camera.

We're now on Day 1 of our 5 straight split weeks. We're in Corpus Christi TX the first half and Lubbock TX the second half. Corpus Christi is very pretty. Our hotel is right on the harbor and there's palm trees everywhere. It's easy to forget we're in Texas. It feels more like Florida.
