Injury Time-out
The first pony is down...first pony is down...message repeats...
Yep,we had our 1st injury. No,not me. Elissa,who plays Sweetberry,pulled a muscle and is out for the rest of the week. Luckily we have 2 swings and even more luckily,they're relatively well prepared. They each cover 4 ponies and have been rotating each role so everyone gets the occasional show off,and it keeps them fresh as well. It just means that the other 3 ponies that Laurie covers don't get a day off till Elissa is back in the show. They're saying it should only be a few days and she'll be back in. All the Sesame Street Live vets in the cast were surprised it took this long for someone to get hurt,but those shows are much more "dance-y" than ours. 50 lbs. of Giant Pony Butt strapped to your back kinda puts the kibosh on anything more complicated than step-kick-ballchange.
